FAQs
Here we’ve organized a handful of frequently asked questions. If you have a question that’s not handled here, please reach out through any of the methods listed on our contact page.
Contact UsAre Girard’s® Salad Dressings gluten-free?
Yes, most flavors are gluten-free. The only flavor with gluten is Toasted Ginger Sesame.
The dressing I purchased appears to have separated. Is it safe to eat?
Many of the Girard’s salad dressings are vinaigrettes and will separate after production. If you have a creamy dressing and it has separated, this is a result of mishandling after production. The product is safe to eat but the high quality standards we set for our products may be compromised.
Do you sell Girard’s dressings in single-serve packets?
Girard’s dressings are produced in single-serve packets by another manufacturer. The formulas in the bottles are different than the packets. For more information on the packets, please visit www.girardsdressings.com
Where can I find the best by date on Girard’s Salad Dressings? How do you read the date?
The Best By date code should be stamped on the glass bottle. The date code will look like the following: “Best by mm/dd/yy Plant Code Time of Production”. So for example, Best by 09/09/13 C 12:15 would be a best by date of September 9, 2013, production line would be “C” and time would be 12:15 am.
